AC, no, not water-based lube... instead, I use a "conductive gel" (Spectra360) because (like mine) many people's skin isn't very electrically conductive, so gel is needed to avoid electrode "stinging." I use the gel tube's nozzle to put a thin line of gel wherever the conductive-rubber loop (or metal ring) electrode touches my skin.

I just find using the Loop a better sensation but I do smear a water based lube thinly over my skin for a better contact, do you use that too ?
