Ron Butler was recently scammed by MYWINDOW INC. This group of Indian immigrants call people claiming to be Microsoft, warning victims that they have found viruses on their computer and that they would need to purchase an "Pegasus" internet security package for $329.95 to remove it. After searching Mr. Butler's computer and tracing the emails he received from MYWINDOW INC, I found no Pegasus software installed and no evidence that anyone had scanned Mr. Butler's computer. Essentially, the company and its software doesn't actually exist. It's revenue depends solely on taking advantage of people who do not have a technical understanding of their computer. After the claim had been made, MYWINDOW INC issued a series of hostile threats in attempt to bully Mr. Butler and his wife, Elizabeth, into payservice.
