Need some info on anal cleansing!

My doctor said I was plugged up and needed to get cleaned out.

So I bought a enema kit, complete with a nozzle.

However, other than water, what do I put into the water to make it work!

Never have done this before; so I plead ignorance.

Is the shower the best place to do this?

If you do it in the shower plan on a messy cleanup. Not sure what you should put in with the water, I guess check with your doctor. There are enemas that are prepared available from the drugstore, over the counter. I have used fleet before

Fleet has good prepared enemas.good choice.I use optics for pain in shoulder and they make you constapated.also use glycerin supositorys.work good.

I put just a little liquid soap in with body-temperature water. It's best done near a toilet and shower... lube your hole (KY or actually hair conditioner works great), stand in the shower, insert the nozzle, squeeze til you fill up and start "overflowing", then sit on the toilet and empty yourself out. Sometimes can take 2 or even 3 times before the water comes out clear, meaning you're clean as a whistle inside.

Fleets work

I’ve had good luck with fleets enemas, sold otc in drug stores, if this is for constipation.
They are gentle, and I’ve read that soap may irritate the bowel lining. A stool softener may be helpful as well. If it’s more for fun, a shower massage hose works great, standing in the shower, lubed ass, and slowly fill. Don’t have the water too hot or too forceful. Empty, repeat and enjoy. It’s also fun having a buddy assist.

Just use plain tap water at body temperature, by adding to the water it can cause irritation to your delicate tissue lining in your colon etc

I just started doing enemas a few months ago. I read that it's a good idea to make a saline solution if a person does enemas regularly. Anyone have any advice on this?
