Monday, May 13, 2024, 2:11:51 PM- Grindr and Tinder make me sad
Gay online dating is such a rollercoaster, another Grindr fail this weekend crying

Let's talk about the dark side of gay online dating (sigh).

Swipe left, swipe right, tap, dick pic ... blocked.. it's like we're shopping for humans in a virtual catalog. And let's face it, it's dehumanizing as hell. We're reducing real people to just a bunch of pics and a witty bio, it feels like it's taking us further away from real, meaningful connections.

Ever hit it off with someone only to have them disappear into the abyss? Ghosting's practically a rite of passage at this point. And don't even get me started on the whole catfishing game. Finding out that hottie you've been chatting with is actually a bored narcissist using random stranger pics? It's enough to make you wanna throw your phone out the window.

And then there's the endless swiping. It's like we're on autopilot, mindlessly flicking through profiles without really stopping to see the person behind the screen. I'm always complaining about that but it's not the first that I catch myself re-installing the app and using it the same way.

"Hope is the last to die", right? Despite the pitfalls, some guys manage to find real connections in this digital jungle (I'm a bit jealous).
So, while we're drowning in a sea of superficiality, let's not forget that love – real, messy, beautiful love – is still out there somewhere.

It is, right?

Monday, May 6, 2024, 10:57:40 PM- Long live the Queen Madonna!
Hey everyone!

Let's give it up for the legendary Madonna! She just wrapped her Celebration World Tour in style, making history with a mind-blowing free show on Rio’s Copacabana beach. Can you believe it? Over 1.6 million people turned up, breaking records left and right! Sorry Rolling Stones, but there's a new top dog in town!

The night was pure magic, with Diplo on the decks, Anitta bringing her judge game during "Vogue," and a show-stopping moment with Brazilian drag sensation Pabllo Vittar joining Madonna for "Music."

In a world full of copycats, Madonna remains the one and only Queen. Long may she reign!

Monday, April 29, 2024, 11:54:50 AM- AI and Digital Vibes
AI is shaking up our online world.
I can’t help but notice how AI is totally changing how we connect online.

First up, dating apps. AI’s like our digital wingman, analyzing our preferences to hook us up with potential matches. It's like Cupid, but with algorithms! Finding love (or just a cute date) is way easier and more personalized, don't you think?

But it’s not just about romance. AI’s also shaping how we consume content and find our people online. From tailored news feeds to LGBTQ+ friendly spaces, AI’s making the internet a more inclusive and fun place to hang.

Of course, there are some issues we gotta keep an eye on, like privacy and bias. But hey, nothing we can’t handle if we are aware of the potential issues, right?

I don't know how to feel about AI yet, but well, it's here and I'm not sure that there is any kind of turning back.
(I'd love to read your thoughts about it)

Monday, April 22, 2024, 1:37:36 PM- Challenging Monogamy: Embracing Relationship Diversity
That idea that being with one person for life is the ultimate goal? Well, it’s not for everyone, especially us LGBTQ+ folks.

Sure, it works great for some couples, but it’s not the be-all and end-all. People change, and one person can’t be everything for their partner – emotionally, sexually, intellectually. That’s a lot of pressure!

Luckily, there are alternatives like polyamory and open relationships. They’re all about honesty, communication, and consent. You can have multiple connections while still having a primary partner if that’s your thing.

Some say non-monogamous relationships lack stability, but many of us find deep emotional bonds and security in them. It’s all about what works for you and your partner(s).

So, whether you’re into monogamy, polyamory, or something in between, what matters is that you’re happy and respected. Let’s embrace relationship diversity and make love work on our own terms.

Wednesday, April 10, 2024, 2:18:19 PM- Gay romances in books and on screen
Love is such a beautiful thing, isn't it?
It doesn't care about labels or boundaries, and gay romances show us just how true that is.
Gay dating is an act of bravery (in my opinion). Our stories paint a vivid picture of human connection and love's ability to break through social barriers.

It's sometimes hard to see a real gay romance on TV, free from all the usual stereotypes, but it seems that it's getting better over the years.
In books and on screens a few gay stories share tales of affection, vulnerability, and the challenges we are facing as a social target.

I love it when a movie or a tvshow builds a real gay relationship, which for me translates as a mixed-story based on romantic feelings, intense sex and introspection.

Tuesday, March 26, 2024, 4:18:47 PM- Elon Musk Encourages His Gay Friends to Consider Parenthood as a Contribution to Society
Elon Musk has recently made headlines with an unexpected suggestion: urging his gay friends to consider having children for the sake of civilization.

Following his acquisition of Twitter for $44 billion, Musk has taken on the role of dispensing advice like a guru. Acknowledging that people do not choose their sexual orientations, he advocates for spreading love freely. However, he also emphasizes the importance of contributing to the continuation of society by having children.

In a tweet, Musk, the 52-year-old SpaceX CEO, reflects on the inherent nature of individuals' orientations and encourages them to pursue love while underscoring the significance of raising children for the benefit of civilization.

This is not the first instance of Musk addressing the topic of population growth. Elon Musk presents himself as a strategist blending wisdom, wit, and a touch of controversy. While advocating for individuals to love freely and embrace their identities, he also stresses the importance of passing on the torch of civilization through parenthood, suggesting that the future may depend on it.
